Richard III: Elect Thine Own Venture

Charles Todhunter & Julia Talbot

Now is the winter of our discontent made glorious summer by this sun of York - and you are that son's younger brother, Richard, Duke of Gloucester!
Things should be swell. Your house, the House of York, has just won a war against your rival house, the Lancasters, and now reigns victorious over glorious England. But you don't feel swell. You don't have a girlfriend, and just because you have a disability, dogs have this weird thing against you, which is actually very hurtful.
It's not that you're not happy that your house is in power. It's just that you can't help but feel that it should be you on that shiny, shiny royal chair.
So, Richard: what are you going to do about that?
You, Richard, are going to whatever it takes to become king of England.
You'll pass.
